NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Village of Big Bend Board of Trustees and Planning Commission will hold a joint public hearing on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., at Christ Lutheran Church and School, S89 W22970 Maple Avenue, Big Bend, WI 53103, in the school gym , to consider the following: A request by Claire Roth (Agent), on behalf of Eric Weishaar (Owner), for a Conditional Use Permit (CUP) to allow development of Phase 1 of the Breck Athletic Complex on property located at the southeast corner of State Highway 164 and Town Line Road (Tax Key No. BBV 2022999002).
This proposed development phase includes four outdoor soccer fields, parking areas, internal roadway access, lighting, and related site improvements, to be operated on a seasonal basis for practices, games, and tournament events. The public hearing is intended to receive comment on the proposed use and site design, including potential impacts related to traffic, parking, lighting, noise, drainage, and compatibility with surrounding properties.
All interested persons are invited to attend and be heard. Written comments may be submitted to the Village Clerk, clerk@villageofbigbend.com, prior to the hearing. Comments received no later than Thursday, March 19 th , 2026 at noon (12:00pm), will be included in the public hearing packets given to each board and commission member. A copy of the applications and supporting materials may be viewed on the Village of Big Bend website, https://www.villageofbigbend.com/ as well as at Big Bend Village Hall during normal business hours. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Joint Public Hearing will be held to receive public comments on a request by Claire Roth (agent) and Eric Weishaar (owner) to amend the Village of Big Bend Comprehensive Plan – Future Land Use Map. The subject property is located at the northeast corner of Skyline Avenue and State Highway 164, Tax Key No. BBV 2022999002.
The proposed amendment would change approximately 42 acres from the Medium Density Residential to Commercial land use plan designation. The amendment is associated with related rezoning and conditional use requests for a proposed indoor/outdoor sports complex.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the following Joint Public Hearings will be held by the Village of Big Bend Plan Commission and Village Board to receive public comments on the following related requests associated with a proposed indoor/outdoor sports complex:
A Joint Public Hearing will be held to receive public comments on a request by Claire Roth (agent) and Eric Weishaar (owner) to amend the Village of Big Bend Zoning Map to rezone approximately 42 acres of property located at the northeast corner of Skyline Avenue and State Highway 164, commonly known as Tax Key No. BBV 2022999002, from the R-2 Residential District to the B-4 Highway Business District.
Immediately following, a Joint Public Hearing will be held to receive public comments on a request by Claire Roth (agent) and Eric Weishaar (owner) to establish a Planned Unit Development (PUD) Overlay District applicable to approximately 150 acres of property located at the northeast corner of Skyline Avenue and State Highway 164, including and extending beyond Tax Key No. BBV 2022999002, within the Village of Big Bend.
Immediately following, a Joint Public Hearing will be held to receive public comments on a request by Claire Roth (agent) and Eric Weishaar (owner) for a Conditional Use Permit to allow indoor and outdoor recreational use in the B-4 Highway Business District, on property located at the northeast corner of Skyline Avenue and State Highway 164, including approximately 150 acres proposed for development under the Planned Unit Development Overlay District, in accordance with the Village of Big Bend Zoning Code.
