NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Joint Public Hearing will be held to receive public comments on a request by Claire Roth (agent) and Eric Weishaar (owner) to amend the Village of Big Bend Comprehensive Plan – Future Land Use Map. The subject property is located at the northeast corner of Skyline Avenue and State Highway 164, Tax Key No. BBV 2022999002.

The proposed amendment would change approximately 42 acres from the Medium Density Residential to Commercial land use plan designation. The amendment is associated with related rezoning and conditional use requests for a proposed indoor/outdoor sports complex.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the following Joint Public Hearings will be held by the Village of Big Bend Plan Commission and Village Board to receive public comments on the following related requests associated with a proposed indoor/outdoor sports complex:

A Joint Public Hearing will be held to receive public comments on a request by Claire Roth (agent) and Eric Weishaar (owner) to amend the Village of Big Bend Zoning Map to rezone approximately 42 acres of property located at the northeast corner of Skyline Avenue and State Highway 164, commonly known as Tax Key No. BBV 2022999002, from the R-2 Residential District to the B-4 Highway Business District.

Immediately following, a Joint Public Hearing will be held to receive public comments on a request by Claire Roth (agent) and Eric Weishaar (owner) to establish a Planned Unit Development (PUD) Overlay District applicable to approximately 150 acres of property located at the northeast corner of Skyline Avenue and State Highway 164, including and extending beyond Tax Key No. BBV 2022999002, within the Village of Big Bend.

Immediately following, a Joint Public Hearing will be held to receive public comments on a request by Claire Roth (agent) and Eric Weishaar (owner) for a Conditional Use Permit to allow indoor and outdoor recreational use in the B-4 Highway Business District, on property located at the northeast corner of Skyline Avenue and State Highway 164, including approximately 150 acres proposed for development under the Planned Unit Development Overlay District, in accordance with the Village of Big Bend Zoning Code.
