Village of Vernon Board 

The Village of Vernon Board has broad authority to manage and direct the affairs of Vernon, which includes making all financial decisions.

The board oversees all public services, including the Vernon Fire Dept. ​​They have the power to establish and oversee various committees and commissions, such as the Fire Commission, Plan Commission, Finance Committee, and Public Health and Safety Committee.

 

Any concerns or citizen statements to consider for future decision making should go directly to the board.

The clerk/administrator has administrative responsibility and implements the village day to day operations.

The clerk/admin should be contacted for questions regarding existing ordinances, permits, operational based inquiries and billing related questions.
